Hey…I just came across your site while searching for things related to ministry to parents. I really liked the five pronged approach you have here. It’s a real comprehensive approach. A buddy and I are trying to help equip youth workers with tools (the “family Bible Study”) to help their parents connect with their teenagers around God’s Word. Great post Tim. We are looking at revamping our ministry to Parents at our church and this definitely adds some ideas and strategies to help that take place. Our church does a good job at reaching out to the youth, but often lack focus when it comes to working with the parents. We should be working hand-in-hand with them and that is our new goal. Quality stuff man…

I remember you writing this for seminary. It’s nice to read it again and picturing specific times you have held to this and really encouraged parents through these strategies. You are doing a great job!
