Yes and no. It was definitely that way through our Gospel Journey series and has never rebounded back to the "fun and games" mentality it used to be, but to say that the teens don't want to play games or have fun at all isn't true. It used to be an hour of games, half hour of Bible study. Now it's 20-30 minutes of games, 1 hour of Bible study. The pendulum has shifted back, but not nearly back to where it used to be. @Rob C. It was good to hear from Jason - some of the things he brought up were concerns that I had emailed him about when I first got into the deep and wide philosophy of ym. One thing to remember is that it's just a model and a method - not means. It is all worthless if the Holy Spirit isn't leading you in it all. As long as we keep God the leader of our ministries, then the model doesn't matter quite as much. It's all about focus. Thanks again I enjoyed the conversation again.
