Here’s another great resource from Paul Turner. It’s a check list to help you get the word out about your youth group events. It includes a lot of ideas for promotion and helps you cover all your bases when you really want to make it as easy as possible for people to find out about your event and help you spread the news.
Of course, nothing can replace vision and passion as you communicate your events, but the ideas in Paul’s list can help you find new ways to share that with the people around you. Check it out.

Yesterday in our LIVE Youth Ministry Conversation we talked about big youth events and if they’re still working the way they used to. A lot of us have issues getting teenagers to show up and seeing little life-change as a result of all our hard work. Maybe there’s a better solution? Maybe big events still work great for your ministry? Maybe they frustrate you, too? We talked through some of our struggles and thoughts about the future of big events in youth ministry.
And thanks to Janelle Painter for designing the new LIVE YM Talk logo you see in this post. Eventually it’ll show up in iTunes and on your iPods if you sync the recordings there. Thanks, Janelle, for the LIVE YM Talk face-lift!
You can listen to the whole conversation below or grab it in iTunes.
