The Hunger Games are a huge hit that’s come up in the wake of the Twilight Series. If you haven’t heard of it, most of your kids probably have. Ask them about it.

Paul Turner, a youth pastor in Alabama, wrote a 4-week lesson series based on the hit novels and called it, “The Hunger and Thirst Games.” The key passage is Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

Paul talks a bit more about the series, how they used it, the games involved, and gives several additional tips and ideas that aren’t included in the actual download below, so be sure to watch it in order to use this lesson series to it’s maximum potential.
