Final apartment decision

Posted on August 10, 2005 by Tim Schmoyer | Print This Post Print This Post

Tuesday I went back and visited the apartment complex right next to the church. It’s the nicer one out of my final options, but was unfortunately the most expensive. To make a long story short, they’re still gonna give me the look-and-lease deal which is $150 off the first two month’s rent. That makes rent only an extra $200 more than the other place over the course of the year and it also was the final deciding factor. I went out an got my $99 money order and reserved my spot for an apartment there. I’m glad the decision is finally made and I know where I’m moving in two weeks or so. The only tricky part now is that they only have a couple open apartments in the floor-plan I want but there’s like 5 or 6 people who have submitted applications for them. Getting my money in before some of them bumped me up in line a couple spots but that’s about it. The manager said that probably not all those applications will be approved and that there might be some evictions in the meantime, as well, making room for me to move in somewhere. Regardless, she said they would find me a spot — they’d better!
