Over the years we as Christians have been taught some rather interesting, and sometimes contradictory stuff about what happens to us after we die. Add into that what friends, popular media and other faith systems teach, and you have a huge mess to try and untangle. Do your teens ask you to clarify this mess at all? I had one who flat out told me that the Bible says nothing about heaven or hell.

So we created this two-part series that explores in depth what the Bible has to say about Heaven and Hell.

Week one focuses on hell. In it we looked at multiple scriptures that show just how often hell shows up in Scripture, each of the 4 words it is translated from (and how each word is a little bit different), and how knowing more about hell should impact our lives.

Week two explores heaven. We looked at more scripture about heaven, what it takes to get there, and even debunked some myths about what it will be like (there are a few of those floating around out there).

We started with hell so that any decisions students made would not be made out of fear of hell, rather they would be made out of a desire to spend eternity with God.
