Yesterday in our LIVE Youth Ministry Conversation 16-year-old Michael Rothermel talked with us about how to use media to teach and communicate with his peers. Our discussion talked about music videos, photography, music and even what teenagers thing about PowerPoint.

Using media is a good idea. Basically, we have to understand how students think. See “Teaching and Helping Students Think and Do Better” on amazon.

conversation and always have a great time chit-chatting with some incredible leaders in the field. Last week I joined the convo that was actually led by 16-year old Michael Rothermel, who has quite the talent in the area of photography. You’ve got tolisten to this podcastand hear Michael speak. I was really impressed with his leadership. Michael (and Tim) led the discussion on the use of media in ministry, which is always honey to my ears.
